 New Videos
It's been a great couple of months! Mikanic rocked at Symphony Space, played for a few thousand people (opening for Talib Kweli) at the Fort Greene Festival, and packed the house at the Tin Angel in Philly.

 World Harmony in Action
Mikanic helped to raise close to $5000 for Musicians for World Harmony at a benefit concert in Tully, NY on March 24, 2007. The money went to fund musical instruments and better facilities at an orphanage called Shangali in Nairobi that takes in street children.
To say the audience was enthusiastic would be an understatement (...crowd-surfing anyone?) and the band were even joined by the Tully school choir for the finale. |

 NYC
Mikanic is back in NYC after a fantastic tour to South Africa where they were joined by some amazing guest artists - Riaan van Rensburg, Zolani and Simon from Freshly Ground and Melissa van der Spuy, to name a few. In Johannesburg they played at the Bassline and the legendary Kippies and in Cape Town they enjoyed a superb gig in the open air amphitheatre at Oude Libertas.

South Africa Tour
Mikanic is to tour South Africa with a number of shows in February and March, and more dates to be added soon. Mike and Nick kick off the tour in Johannesburg with two acoustic shows. Shirzad and Alex will join them for the remaining dates ending at the spectacular Oude Libertas amphitheater in Stellenbosch. Don't miss the Sons of Trout reunion show on the 24th!
